Accommodation providers in the South West have a unique opportunity to receive quarterly reports designed to quickly and easily benchmark business levels against local and regional competitors.

For Serviced Accommodation providers

Once completed a member of BDRC will telephone you to confirm your registration, collect some further details about your accommodation and explain how to complete the survey.

Note: Any information you provide will be seen only by public tourism organisations (VisitBritain, regional tourism boards and local authorities) and our survey partner BDRC, who will use the information for data processing purposes only.

Under no circumstances will any information be published that allow results from your establishment to be identified.

For Self Catering Accommodation providers

Quarterly occupancy averages can provide invaluable market intelligence to benchmark your business performance against county and regional averages. 

Confidential personal results for each business are provided as a means of recording business performance.

The use of these figures can also provide:

• figures for business plans
• supporting evidence for funding applications
• evidence of occupancy levels if you ever decide to sell your business
