Due to the relatively small sample achieved in January’s survey, the results should be treated as an indication of likely business levels in the region. The sample size has prevented analysis by either business type or county of origin. We have tried to make the Snapshot as quick and easy to complete as possible and hope to boost numbers from February onwards.We really appreciate the people that have taken the time to participate in the survey and if they can help spread the word amongst businesses in their locality that would be great. The more that take part, the more accurate and more localised the data will become.

Like the new look business snapshot. The weather style symbols make it really easy to get a snapshot of what is being said.How robust is the sample size - it seems quite small given the number of businesses in the area
