The many attractions of Lyme Bay

If you’re visiting the Lyme Bay area of south-west England then there are many things that are going to appeal to you in the area. It is a great destination that is appropriate for many different types of holiday including a romantic short break, or just a fun seaside holiday with the family. This is a part of England that is very accessible, and is known for its breathtaking scenery, fossil hunting, sheltered harbours, thatched cottages, and of course it’s sandy beaches.

This is a part of the UK that enjoys moderate weather all year round, and so it is a good place to visit at any time of the year. Of course, if you want to do some relaxing on the beach in the sun, then you are going to have to go during the warmer months, but in the winter, it is definitely still possible to visit the beach. You will find that taking a walk on the beach in the winter can still be a fantastic experience in this part of England.

Reaching the area is very easy whether you travel by road, or public transport. There are excellent train connections that leave from London which deliver you to this part of the country very quickly and easily. Additionally, there are several motorways serving the area, so you will be able to drive down fairly quickly.

If you are coming to the area in the summer months, then you’re going to be able to sample a great deal of food from the local area. During the summer, many restaurants have seasonal menus that have a great deal of food available. One of the best places to come and eat would be Park Farm, which offers alfresco dining with some incredible local produce being served up.
