Haven holidays – on your doorstep

We know it’s hard to think that just as you have packed the kids back off to school there’s another school break around the corner to plan for! But you don’t need to panic, as a half term break at Haven is crammed with plenty of activities with lots included in the price. And with Haven’s 35 parks dotted all around the country you don’t have to travel too far for your half term getaway – it’s all on your doorstep!

Haven’s Riviere Sands and Perran Sands are based in one of Britain’s finest seaside locations – Cornwall. If you live near the area why not make a quick trip to one of our Cornwall based parks and set up camp for half term. Whatever you’re looking to get from the October half term break Haven have it covered, making school holidays much less daunting and hassle free. And best of all when you send the kids back to school your house will still be tidy!

Riviere Sands offers views across St Ives Bay – with white sand and turquoise waters like this, what more could you want? A short and easy walk from your caravan will bring you to a huge sandy beach where kids can burn off that pent up school stress – a much better way of blowing off steam than staying cooped up at home. They could even have a go at surfing! And Cornwall offers some of the best beaches around, so there’s nowhere better to go to feel the sand underfoot.

Many of Cornwall’s highlights are within easy distance of Riviere Sands, like the stylish St Ives with its chic café bars and beaches. Thrill seekers can get their half term kicks at nearby Flambards Theme Park, or you could visit Porthcurno to explore its stunning coves. Plus the park has plenty to keep you entertained on site, from kids clubs to crazy golf to kart hire to fun pools, there’s really no excuse to be bored.

Perran Sands is less than ten miles from lively Newquay, making it another perfect base from which to enjoy Cornwall’s highlights. And just like Riviere Sands there’s lots happening on park to give you fun family bonding time – like mini ten pin bowling.

At Haven Parks there are many activities that will keep your kids cheerful and busy, so you will have time to enjoy the family holiday as well. The parks have heated indoor pools and the majority have the added fun of flumes or slides. All have water sporting activities on offer including Water Walkerz and Aquajet Racers – around £6 a go but pre-purchase Activity Passes and you will save up to 25%.

There’s free football coaching, free fun inflatables and for little ones there’s free water confidence and mini tennis, archery and fencing sessions. The kids’ clubs are free and offer a range of activities each day for different age ranges. As it’s combined with Halloween there’s a bit of a spooky theme to the fun lined up for families including Polly’s ‘spooktacular’ Fancy Dress Ball, Trick or Treat Treasure hunts and Spooky face painting.

Prices start at just £229 for a three night break in a ‘Superior’ self-catering holiday home for a family of up to six people arriving on October 26th – with deals from £345 for seven nights in similar accommodation from October 26th.
