Spring breaks in Cornwall

Retreating to the countryside of Cornwall during the spring is an excellent idea. You have a choice of excellent Cornwall cottages at Powells so that a place to stay is never a problem.

Cornwall is divided into three areas: North Cornwall, West Cornwall, and South Cornwall and each of these areas offer something unique.

In North Cornwall you will find the finest seaside resorts that have famous beaches like the Coastal Portreath, and Newquay, both known for body boarding and surfboarding. There are other attractions in the region and if are a history buff, the little town of Tintagel with its Arthurian connections is the place to go or you can go to Padstow to savor the seafood and witness harbour action.

In West Cornwall you’ll find the most stunning scenery, little wonder that it is famous for thriving artist communities like the one you will find in St. Ives. And just in case you want scenery that’s even more dramatic, then, you can take a trip to the Lizard and Land’s End where the Atlantic views are really fascinating. Some like to keep things traditional and if you happen to be one of them, you can go to Falmouth or Penzance.

For some peace and quiet, South Cornwall is the place to go since of the three it’s the least visited, but this does not mean that it has less to offer. There’s the amazing Eden Project and the well-known towns of Truro and St Austell.

It does not really matter where you opt to go for the spring break holiday; you are bound to have a good time in Cornwall whether you choose a St. Ives cottage for a place to stay or elsewhere.
