One of the best places to visit in the Cotswolds would have to be the classic town of Northleach. One of the most notable attractions in this town is the church of St Peter and Paul, which is regarded as the ‘Cathedral of the Cotswolds.’

This town was initially established in the 16th century and since that time it has not really changed a great deal. You will find incredible architecture, winding alleys, and beautiful stone walls throughout the town, and you will really feel as if you have stepped back in time.

In this town you will find a fascinating Mechanical Music Museum, which has a vast collection of instruments which are capable of playing themselves. There are rumours that there are a series of underground tunnels in the town – although whether these exist is not known for certain.

One of the best things about visiting the Cotswolds is the joy of going out for a walk. There are numerous different tracks which can be taken in the surrounding area and you will find beautiful woodlands, limestone grassland, and open hilltops provide just some of the most spectacular scenery in the whole of the country. There are many walks that have been written about to do in the local area, so you will be sure to be up to find something suited to your skill level. There are also walks of different lengths, depending on how long you want to spend outside.
